Chohchat is a co-operative living space proposed as assistance for floating refugee communities located in Cambodia. Chohchat encourages sharing of activities and infrastructure to help build up community relationships and provide the space and storage for activities and shared belongings. The programming aims to reduce the burden of single-family living and improve quality of life. At the same time. Economic green technologies take advantage of the equatorial location and are embedded into the structural elements made from locally sourced, grown, and processed materials.
