Luminara is a sanctuary of light and gathering, created for those whose lives have been touched by the devastation of fire. This elevated structure serves as a place of renewal, where architecture becomes both a vessel for memory and a beacon for connection. Guided by a choreography of light, the space transforms from day to night. Perforated panels cast shifting patterns across pathways, creating moments of intimacy and openness. At the heart of the structure, a radiant square light source glows at all hours — a symbolic hearth visible from anywhere on site. This shared point of orientation draws people together, reminding visitors that even when scattered, they remain connected by a common center.

The interplay of reflective surfaces, warm-toned frames, and projected imagery immerses visitors in stories of resilience, nature, and community. As people ascend and descend the pathways, light guides them — soft at rest areas, vibrant at gathering points — echoing the emotional journey from loss toward hope.
